Fire-building workshop

Fire-building workshop Friday July 9th at 5p.m. with Mark Sandberg.

This will be the second installment from the Homesteader Series of workshops: Fire building is an important skill for burning noxious weeds, making ash for compost, prairie fires, ditch fires, roasting a hog, heating with wood, starting a bee hive smoker etc. Mark will cover the essentials for fire making without cheating (i.e. gasoline) - Tinder, Kindling and Fuel, including wood selection and preparation, and everyone will have the opportunity to practice.
