Garden Work Day

Sticking around over spring break and looking for something to do? F.H. King will have two garden workdays during the time off: Tuesday, March 30, and Thursday, April 1, from 9am-4pm. Don't worry if you cannot make it the entire time, as any help is appreciated, so come when you can and stay as long as you want! Tasks to be done include, but are not limited to:

• turning compost piles
• cleaning up strawberry & asparagus patch
• setting out irrigation
• clean out tool shed

The sun's out, birds are singing in earnest, and garlic has started to peek out of the soil at the F.H. King garden...all it needs is a little love from students.

We will also eat lunch from noon-1 at the garden picnic table. All are invited to bring a bag lunch and share a meal!
