Volunteer with FH King at MACSAC's CSA Open House

If you've told yourself you'd like to make a difference in your community and the world, though this seems small this is a very direct way to support something very positive going on in your community and the world right now. Organic food is the fastest growing sector of the food industry and organic and small local farms are increasing too. Each small effort toward a good end helps, and organizations like FH King and MACSAC and the CSAs around Madison ARE making a difference. Volunteers are a significant part of that difference because positive change needs actors. You can be a part of this by signing up to volunteer. It's going to be fun.
-MACSAC (Madison Area Community Supported Agriculture Coalition) is the largest CSA coalition in the country.
-And their CSA open house is an event to introduce and educate the public about CSA farms, so people can meet the farmers and choose which farm suits them best.
-CSAs, and subsequently, this event are growing in popularity and this event had to move to a bigger location. It's a lot of fun and there's great energy there. There's also workshops and live music.
-AND they need lots of great people to pull it off. This is where you come in...Join other F.H. King volunteers and help support making this community the kind of place you're proud to live in.
TIME: 12:30p.m. - 4:00p.m.-ish Sunday, March 14th.
